What happened

Gunmen invaded ECWA Goodnews Church at Okedayo in Kabba-Bunu LGA, Kogi State, on Sunday, killing one worshipper, injuring three and abducting two others. The Okun Development Association condemned the attack and wider kidnapping upsurge in Okunland.

How the numbers were verified

Casualty figures are stated by NAN in the article's framing rather than attributed to a named police or witness source; the ODA statement (Pastor Ben Abereoran) condemns the attack but gives no figures. Article is largely a reaction statement — check for prior primary coverage of the same 19 September church attack to avoid double-counting. Exact time of day not given.

Location

Okedayo, Kabba, Kabba/Bunu, Kogi — exact coordinates not recorded; marker placed at the centre of the state.
