Verified conservative figures — "at least" numbers. Where reports claim more, the higher claim is shown but not counted until verified.
Suspected militias attacked Ariri community in Bassa LGA, Plateau state, at about 11:30pm. Troops of Sector 3 Operation Enduring Peace responded and the attackers fled; a subsequent search recovered the body of Maianguwa Ishe, while Joseph Ezekiel was found with gunshot wounds and taken to hospital.
Only the Bassa/Ariri portion is countable; the reported Manja (Mangu LGA) incident was a foiled approach with no casualties and is excluded. Sourcing is a secondhand report attributed to the Zagazola Makama publication, not a direct military or police statement.
